Quality Cooler!!

This is a fantastic cooler. Well made, tough, and you can buy replacement parts. Best of all is getting this kind of quality that is made in the USA. It is not a cheap cooler by any standards, but it is Priced reasonably when considering the main competition!! I don’t think I will ever have to replace it. Looking to buy a 50 or 70 when I can finally decide which one will suit my needs best!.

So far so good

So far so good. I ran a test from my front porch. We went on a one day trip, I prepared the cooler with drinks, some frozen ice packs a some ice. When we got home, I left the cooler on the porch. Five days later the drinks were still cool enough to be refreshing. The cooler was in the shade most of the days, uncovered. When I take this little gem to camp, it will be covered. Only thing I didn’t like was the plug. At first I couldn’t get it tight enough and it leaked all over my back seat. So, I used olive oil on the washer and tightened it as much as I could. It’sbetter now and has not leaked. There seems to be some condensation around the plug, probably since it is thinner there to accommodate the plug.

Awesome Cooler!

Decided to get a Maluna after watching a comparison video where it did really well compared to other brands. Plus being made in the USA was just the final selling point. The first weekend I had it I put it to use in the Mojave desert and it exceeded my expectations. It’s been a game changer for those hot trips out to the desert and I’m sure I’ll be using it a lot more. Now I just need to get a bigger size…
